What if the thing holding back your business isn't your lead gen, your systems, or your skill set — but a quiet belief that you don't actually deserve to succeed?

This week's guest came on to talk about AI. The Lord had other plans. Christian Santiago is an AI strategist and marketing systems operator who's spent over a decade building lead generation and revenue systems behind major real estate brands and high-growth businesses, and he's the founder of Meet The Agents AI. But what unfolds in this episode goes far deeper than tools and prompts — it's a spiritual roadmap for any agent who's ever felt stuck, unworthy, or afraid to move.

The conversation centers on Christian's "D.A.D. Framework" — Departure, Arrival, and Destiny — and each piece hits a nerve that most agents never talk about out loud.

Departure is the moment you stop being loyal to the version of yourself God is trying to deliver you from. Christian draws on the ten lepers in Luke, who were healed "as they went" — a reminder that you're often not blessed first and then you move. Sometimes the blessing is in the movement. To depart, you have to abandon something: a mindset, a fear, a brokerage, an old identity.

Arrival isn't about reaching some finish line — it's arriving at the truth of who God is and who you are in Him. God can take you out of Egypt in a moment, but He may walk you through the wilderness to take Egypt out of you. We live in a microwave, Netflix-style culture, but real growth is still a process, and there's still work required once you get where you're going.

Destiny is what becomes possible when obedience, identity, and surrender come into agreement. It's not fame. It's not money. It's alignment with what God intends to do through your life.

The most powerful thread running through it all is redemption. Using the genealogy of Jesus — Rahab the prostitute, David the adulterer and murderer, Moses — Christian and Garrett unpack a truth that frees a lot of agents who are secretly stuck: God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called. Your past can be real without being final.

Key Takeaways

  • The blessing is often in the movement, not before it. Like the ten lepers who were cleansed "as they went," you're frequently not blessed first and then you move — you have to step out in obedience before you see the breakthrough. Departure means abandoning something old to arrive somewhere new.
  • You can leave Egypt physically but still carry it spiritually. God can deliver you from a situation in a moment, but He may walk you through the wilderness to remove the old identity from you. Growth is a process, not an instant arrival — and there's still work required once you get there.
  • God qualifies the called, not the other way around. Rahab, David, and Moses all carried serious failures, yet remained in the bloodline of Jesus. Your past can be real without being final. God doesn't erase the failures — He redeems them, and repentance and mercy carry your destiny forward.
  • Many agents self-sabotage because they don't feel worthy. When you secretly believe you don't deserve a good business because of your past, you'll unconsciously hold back. But when the Lord looks at you, He sees Christ — those sins are paid for, not continually being paid for. Be excellent at the input and let the Lord determine the output.
  • The fundamentals never change, even with AI. You still have to contact your list, make the calls, and have conversations. AI doesn't replace the fundamentals — it helps you run them at a level no one else can. It all boils down to math: calls, conversations, appointments.
  • Leverage what you have to get what you don't. Christian's biggest early breakthrough came from pure organic movement — no paid ads, just serving other people's audiences and making it all about them. That same fundamental drives smart AI systems today.
  • Destiny isn't arrival — it's alignment. It's not about getting famous or making money. Your ultimate purpose is to lead others to Christ; real estate is simply the method. Be excellent because it brings God glory, but never forget the goal is to be a gospel witness — to your kids first, then your community.

Departure is the moment you stop being loyal to the version of yourself the guy is trying to deliver you
from. So sometimes, you know, we call it procrastination, but spiritually it's just its attachment. And we
can like, you know, we can delay because we're not really sure, like what's ahead. Um, and maybe we
might not even think that it's, it's valuable enough to move. Right. But in order for me to get out of this
seat right now, I have to stand up in order for you to depart from somewhere. You have to abandon
something else. Right? And sometimes the blessings in the steps, right? You're not blessed first, and then
you move. Sometimes the blessing is in the movement. Today's episode is not what you expect. We have
on today an AI specialist, but in the coolest way possible. The Lord takes us in a different direction as
Christian shares his dad framework, which is a perfect name for the show as he talks about departure,
arrival and destiny. And what I appreciate about Christian is his honesty, his vulnerability of the things
that he's been through and the glory of Christ through it all. You guys will not want to miss this episode
and he has an amazing giveaway just for you! I'm excited for you to hear this episode. Let's dive in!
Don't worry. I didn't forget this week's dad joke. What kind of car did the apostles drive? Now, quick
caveat if you've been listening to the show for a while, you better know the answer. You gotta be getting
better at these dad jokes, right? Or else why am I doing them? What kind of car did the apostles drive? A
Honda, because the Bible says they were all in one accord. Man, I. How does anybody still respect me
with these kinds of jokes? I don't know, but I love you guys, so I keep doing it, you know. Enjoy this
week's episode. What's up, faithful agents? Today I am joined by my brother, Christian Santiago, a
marketing systems operator, AI strategist, and lifelong creative. For over a decade, Christian has built
lead generation and revenue systems behind major real estate brands, online personalities and high
growth businesses. But long before AI and automation, Christian was actually a musician, working
alongside Billboard charting artists and playing concerts with bands you probably heard on the radio, that
world taught him how to create at a high level, perform under pressure and build things people actually
feel. And honestly, that same creative instinct now drives the way he approaches systems, AI and
business growth. Today, he's the founder of Meet the Agents AI, a platform helping real estate
professionals turn chaos into scalable systems, use AI like true operators, and build businesses that don't
rely on burnout to grow. I love that Christian doesn't just talk about AI as a shortcut. He talks about
stewardship, leverage, and building smarter so people can actually create more freedom in their lives.
And most importantly, he's a husband, a dad, and a lover of Jesus brother. Thanks for being here, man.
I'm excited to dive into this. And agents, we are probably getting into AI, but before we do, Christian has
created something very specific just for us. You all love my dad jokes, so the only consistent thing I hear,
Christian, is the dad jokes. Garrett really are bad, but keep doing them anyways. Uh, so. But but
Christian, you've created the dad framework, which is the most awesome thing that's ever happened on
the show. So brother man, thank you for being here. Dive into that. What is the dad framework, man?
Unpack that for us. Yeah. So I appreciate being here Garrett. Thanks for inviting me. And the dad
framework is just three principles. So, you know, I love artificial intelligence marketing, you know,
systems. I've been doing it for over a decade. Uh, but, you know, my heart in what you're doing is to help
people kind of escape. You know, we share. I shared this a little bit with you when we met at the elevate
and the line event is, you know, when we have this past, when we have this, you know, this, this stain on
our lives and our souls, our spirits, we kind of feel like we're not. Worthy. Right. Like there's something
that is hindering us from moving into the calling that God has for our life, right? And you know it. Just if
we keep it real in real estate, uh, in marketing, you know, we are like, hustle, hustle, go, go go. Like, that
is what we are. That's ingrained in our brains. It's almost branded on us on the way out of the licensing
center. You know what you have to do. Um, and so I think the data framework is something I, I it was it
didn't happen on purpose. Like, I know it was like, hey, I'm gonna hop on here. I know Garrett does his
dad jokes. So, um, the first piece of the framework is called departure. Um, and this essentially is just,
you know, when we think about forward movement and we'll, we'll break this down, I think, through the
podcast, uh, but, you know, movement requires leaving, right? You can't come up without coming out.
Right. And so the first D is departure. The second one is going to be arrival. Right. So I'll hit on a little
bit on, you know, when the um, when Israel got out of Egypt, um, you know, God took him through. He
could have definitely took him on a shortcut, but he took him through a journey, right? And he had to
take Egypt out of Israel. There was a process, right? It wasn't an instantaneous thing. Right. And so when
we were met with a rival, like where we headed to, um, you know, you can leave a place physically but
still carry that mindset spiritually, right? And then the second D is destiny, right? Um, so destiny is cool,
right? It's not about the you know, I got famous. I made a lot of money. You know, it's more so of, you
know, destiny is what becomes possible when obedience, identity and surrender come to agreement.
Right. Um, and so, you know, there's a dude. We can riff on stories all day long. I want to be on of
everyone's time listening. But, you know, those are the three. Uh, and I. Like I said, it was a joke at first,
but I'm like, man, you know, Garrett does these dad jokes, so why not go ahead? And this is applied to
moms to nothing. Yeah, sure. Love for moms, because without moms, we wouldn't be here. And they
have the most important job in the world. So yeah, yeah, for sure. I love it, man. And every future guest
that's listening. You better have a dad framework. Uh, let me just say that out loud. I love it, dude. Okay,
so let's break it down then. So departure. Unpack that. What does that mean? Yeah. So departure is the
moment you stop being loyal to the version of yourself that God's trying to deliver you from. Right? Um.
And stop being loyal to the version of yourself that God is trying to deliver you from. Correct. Awesome.
Okay. Yeah, yeah. So sometimes, you know, we call it procrastination, but spiritually it's just a, it's
attachment. Um, and we can like, you know, we can delay because we're not really sure, like, what's
ahead. Um, and maybe we might not even think that it's, it's valuable enough to move. Right. But in order
for me to get out of this seat right now, I have to stand up. Like, if you're listening to this, I'm sitting
down. Whatever you're doing, um, in order for you to depart from somewhere, you have to abandon
something else, right? And so when, um. Is a story. And, uh, I got this, uh, this concept from this guy
named Ty Tribbett. He's a worship leader. And when he's when he hit on it, I'm like, man, I've got to
write that down, and I've got to share that with people. Um, we he brought up in in Luke. Um, there were
ten lepers. Right. And in Luke it says, now on the way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border. Um,
and he came across these ten lepers. Right. And they stood at a distance. They were like, God, you know,
have pity on us. Can you deliver us? And the Scripture, the the main thing that I want everyone that's
listening to this to really focus on is it says when he saw them, he said, go show yourselves to the priest.
And as they went, they were cleansed. Right. So sometimes the blessings in the steps, right. You're not
blessed first and then you move. Sometimes the blessing is in the movement. Right? And so I think that
really hits a vein in what we do. Um, you know, sometimes when we're thinking about, for example, AI,
we think about brokerages, we think about movements, and we think about interruptions in our industry.
Sometimes we have to learn to abandon or leave some or the train of thought. Because, you know what
happened with blockbuster? Insert Netflix. You know what happened with Kmart, insert Amazon. You
know what I'm saying? So it's not that I'm here to put fear or fear monger anyone into believing in AI.
I've been in this industry for over ten years. I've been using chatbots since like 2017, and it's never. And I
and I'm hoping this is going to help someone with this AI like, uh, this just huge freaking just wave up all
of these tools and different concepts and different teachers and different gurus. The number one thing,
and I was literally on a training with Jason the other day, one of the things I want to, you know, put into,
you know, into position with you to understand is that the fundamentals still remain. The fundamentals
are the fundamentals. If I give you a framework or an AI tool or a prompt or an authentic system, you
still need to contact your list. You still need to make the phone calls or set up an AI to help you do it.
Like you can't make deals if you're not having conversations, right? Boil it down right, so if you have a
certain amount of revenue you need to hit, or you have a certain amount of homes you want to sell for the
year, it all boils down to math and fundamentals. Okay, I need to make this many calls. If I make this
many calls, this is how many people answer. These are how many people set an appointment. It just goes
down to the fundamentals. So even with AI, I try to just communicate. You know, when we got to this
point of the Ted framework, right. Um. We have to. Sometimes, if we're fearful of what AI is doing, we
have to kind of like we we don't know what that blessing is. We depart from it. You know, there's people
there's a huge percentage of people who are using it. There's a huge percentage of people who are using it
and not getting results. And there's a certain percentage of people who aren't using it at all. Right. So
when we kind of like come into real estate, a lot of us are taught, hey, work on Facebook and work on
expired ads. And then, you know, you come into this industry with a ton of overwhelm between even
onboarding to your brokerage. So you just get freak and blast, and then you have to go through Nar, and
then you have to go through ethics and all these other things. Right? So coming into this part, um, you
know, there's overwhelm everywhere, but if you could just apply the concept, um, is it's the
fundamentals. And, you know, for the first piece of the framework of departure, you know, sometimes
we rely a lot on, um, you know, just making the abandonment of something. And that could be a mindset
that can be a brokerage, that could be a fear. But you have to abandon something in order to make it
somewhere else. Right. So that departures that first D. Mm. That's good. Yeah. Yeah definitely. I mean
there's so many things that hold us up right. I mean almost everything in our industry and business in
general. I think it's like my brain versus your brain, but more specifically my brain versus my brain. You
know, one of the things I was sharing with an agent this morning, Christian, I was coaching, and I said,
you know, your your success is going, you know, we talked about like, this is how we think you should
do it, right? In my head, it's you're working by referral. This is what you're doing, right? And I said, but
listen, here's the reality. Your success is going to be directly tied to how often are you saying no, right.
So that you can protect the yes and the abandonment of the agent mentality to the business owner
mentality? Right. The departure of that to your point, or just intentionally making sure that new thoughts
and ideas don't take over what you know to be good and right and true. Uh, right. So I love that. And I
love that story in Luke. I was actually just reading it a couple days ago. I'm studying Luke right now.
And, you know, all you commented that, like, didn't think about it from the perspective of on the ways
when they got healed. But that is what it says. But it's also crazy because, uh, you know, then all of them
except the one, the Gentile, they all just leave and they're like, all right, thanks for the one came about it.
Yeah, yeah, one guy is the one that followed and you're like, bro, how'd you do that? But, you know, how
often do we even do that from a perception of or perspective? Perspective of. As believers, you know, we
get a deal done and we're like, all right, cool. Thanks. You know, next one, as opposed to the genuine
stopping and pausing like, thank you, Lord, the way that, you know, there's so many moving parts that
had to come together to get that deal done. And the Lord's kindness he did. And that's how he's
providing, right? So, uh. Anyways. Great. Okay, so that's d d is departure, a is arrival. So hit me up with
that. What's that? Yeah. So, um, one thing before we leave for departure, just let it put us. Put it, uh,
period at the end of it. Uh, yeah. I'll just have one more. One more verse. Like with Abraham, Genesis is
now the Lord said to Abraham, get out of your country, from your family, from your father's house to a
land that I will show you. So just, you know, even with that instance as well, um, God called Abraham to
his destiny, which is the third day we'll get into. But his first instruction was departure, get out. Right.
Good. So sometimes you just have to, you know, depart. So. Hey, so the second the second letter A is for
rival. Um, it just doesn't it's not more so arrival in the means of like, hey, I got somewhere. It's more so
from my personal story, which I'll definitely get into. It's, uh, I arrived at the truth of who God is and who
I am in him. Um, this is where I want to kind of want to go into when God delivered, uh, Israel from
Egypt. Right. Um, because getting out of Egypt was a whole process. Right. And, um. You know, God
had this ability. He has I say had he has. Right. Has this ability to deliver anyone from anything? I can't
wait to go into this next piece because this is something that I struggled with. But God can deliver you
from Egypt in a moment. But sometimes he has to walk you through the wilderness, which is what Israel
ought to go through to remove Egypt out of their identity. Right? So we kind of like obviously no one
that's listening to this will probably fight me on this. We all live in, you know, in this, like, instantaneous
society, right? Fast food, microwaves, fast internet, all that kind of stuff. Right. And it's in that waiting.
You know that sometimes, you know, God puts us in the waiting process, puts us in a holding pattern,
and, you know, as much as as much as I know me personally, Christian Santiago, as much as I know that
God can literally say, hey, you know, you got your license, you know, I'm gonna get you tomorrow.
You're going to wake up in your CRM with a hundred appointments. You're going to have four Issa's
booking, you appointments, you're going to have AI going and talking to, you know, you know, Shirley
up front. Everything's going to be smooth. You know, I got you five transaction coordinators like, you
know, just show up to the closing table with a smile on your face, like it's just going to happen, right?
There's a whole process, you know, there's there's things that we have to abandon first, and then we get
into, like, the actual second piece here is where we arrive, right? And when we arrive at places. I think
one of the first things that we think of is like, all right. Like, it's kind of like when you get your license,
okay, I got my license. Now what? And then you're met with, okay, well, here's what you have to do.
And you're like, you know what? I kind of thought this was going to be like Netflix, where I just show up
and, you know, I just get all these listings and I'm, you know, at the beach, right? And you and I could
both attest to. That's just not the case, right? There is work required, right? Yeah. Even, you know, and
most people, uh, you know, the people who are high performers, um, which is I love about your stories,
like you, you were challenged by your wife. You had this whole plan you came up with, and you spoke it
to her. She's like, okay, cool. I love that plan, but how can we do it? And what was it? You know, with
less than 40 hours a week for 40 hours? Yeah, but my hours by 30. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that sounds cool,
Garrett. But how can we do it? How can we do it faster? Right. Because you want to show up for her.
You want to show up for your family, you want to show up for your kids. And we we get this, this
identity fed to us of what Netflix is saying or who the top broker, who the top producer is. And, um, you
know, we kind of find out once we arrive where we're at that there is still more work required, right?
Mhm. Um, and so God can deliver you from Egypt in a moment, but sometimes you have to walk you
through the wilderness to remove that Egypt from your identity. So, um, this is something if you're, if
you're okay, um, I kind of want to, um, you know what I shared with you, uh, at the elevate and the line,
you know, when we were doing. We were speaking on stage there. You asked me a couple of questions.
And one thing that I've always even. I'm not going to be completely transparent. Honest. Um, this isn't
something that I would say I struggle with right now. This is something that I have come to a conclusion
of what the answer is. And now I'm walking in it and walking and learning through it. Right. So, um, you
know, in my in my growing up, you know, I was in the music industry. Um, you know, I traveled, I
played festivals, played arenas. Um, and in that, you know, environment, I played in a band that was face
centered, right? Um, and then, as you know, there are temptations. There are things that happen when
you are in that scene. And I struggled with a lot of stuff. You know, I kind of felt like I had a platform
that God given me, and I was abusing it. Right. So even like these days, right now, my prayer on a daily
basis with God's like, like, help me to be a good steward of what you've allowed me to have. I do not
want to mess this up, not just because I need to make money. It's not because I want to be on this stage
and talk to people. I'm probably like one of the worst. It like when I think when I say this, I don't want I
don't want it to come out wrong. But to me, I know and I'm, you know, you do as well. Like we we are in
this circle. We see all these gurus and these people that are on stage, and sometimes people are just so
pompous and they they talk themselves up, you know, whatever the case is. But me, I'm kind of like just
the guy who who's been doing this in the weeds and, you know, in the shadows, almost like The Wizard
of Oz for so long that I really can care less about all that stuff, you know? Um. And so what I, what I,
what I don't want to happen is, you know, for that identity to be mixed with like, oh, this guy is awesome.
And I don't put myself in a platform position. You guys have been doing this for over ten years. And I
know, you know, people tell me, hey, you're like the best ever, you're the greatest or whatever, but I've
never come out and said that. I've never made it a point to say, hey, back in 2015, um, I did a deal with
Grant Cardone, and here's what I did. Right? Because as we did, there's part of my story. So, um, you
know, I, I think that one of the this is what I'm going back to, what I was saying earlier, I just struggled. I
struggled because I did a lot of dirt, right? I did a lot of things I know I should have been doing, and I
feel like that followed me through the years of growing up as a young adult, where I felt like I wasn't
worthy. I felt like what God has called me to do is one thing, and what Christian Santiago did was
another. And I don't know if I could have caught up to what God wanted in my life because I didn't feel
worthy of it, right? And so on this third one in arrival, you know, we have the, you know, the the
example of Egypt and Israel being delivered out of Egypt. But then, you know, this is where I talk to you
about elevated elevate and line was the genealogy of Jesus itself. Right. There's tons of people in the line
of Jesus where would make your. You know, I don't I'm probably not going to go into all of them, but I'll
maybe go through a couple. Um, but I'll be like, real like, am I, am I okay? And I'm pulling this from
scripture, so I'm not making it stuff up. Okay, cool. Yeah. I'll pull, I'll pull, I'll pull two people. I'll pull.
Maybe someone you haven't heard of. Not you specifically, but maybe some of the listeners. Yeah. Um,
and then I'll. And I'll pull one that the majority of in which, you know. So, um, let's talk about, uh, I
believe her name is Rahab. Rahab. Right. So Rahab was a prostitute in Jericho, and she had the kind of
background that a lot of religious people would have disqualified immediately. Right? Um, but she had
faith protected spies became a part of Jesus's genealogy. Right? Um, so if you go to Matthew says, Simon
begat Boaz by Rahab. Right. And so, um. You know, Rahab kind of proves that your past can be real
without you being final. Right. A lot of people have done things in their life that they feel dirty about,
that they feel they cannot be redeemed from. But we just know that's not the truth, Garrett. You and I
both know that we're redeemed by the blood of Jesus, right? And so sometimes it's hard to know, hey, I
did this, and I just don't feel like I'm qualified or that God is. You know? You know, he's content with
me, right? Um, but we just know that that's not the truth. And that's something I fought with a long time
until I sat myself down and said, all right, God, like, this is how I feel. Let's open up my Bible. And for
whatever reason, I was just. I'm gonna look up the genealogy of Jesus, right? I'm just gonna look it up.
Right. Then we get into what we talked about briefly, too. Was David right? David and Goliath. David
was, you know, King David, right? Uh, David and Goliath. Right. So essentially, there were some things
that he struggled with. Number one, he struggled with adultery. Number two, he was he murdered
someone. He put Uriah, one of his people from his army on the front line to die. Right, because he laid
with Uri's wife, got her pregnant. Right. And so what David tried to do was like, okay, cool. I'm just
gonna bring her Uriah back home so he can sleep with his wife so that he might think that might might be
his kid, right? What did Uriah do? He was like, nope, I'm just gonna sleep on the front porch of my house
or whatever. I'm not gonna go in there because while my people are out there battling, I'm not going to be
the person that's going to come home to my pleasure, my pleasures. I'm going to sit here on the front
porch and I'm going to go back. Sends you right to the front line. Uriah dies. Right? And King David is
such an iconic person in the Bible. Moses. Right. Moses. Same thing. Like murder, right? Yeah. And so
it goes to that old adage, you know, like God doesn't qualify. The God doesn't call the qualified. He
qualifies the called. You know, I think that's something that I, me personally struggled with. So if you're
listening to this right now and you are at that crossroads where you're kind of figuring out, hey, you
know, I don't know if my relationship with God is where it needs to be at, and I don't know if I ever
could ever be that way. I just want to encourage you that there are multiple people in the Bible, especially
even in the bloodline of Jesus, that have done the most atrocious things. And it that bloodline is, is
redeemed and, you know, you're redeemed and you know, and it doesn't it doesn't mean you know that
God erases those failures. You know, he didn't raise that from the Bible. He didn't like it's it's written in
there. He just showed that repentance and mercy can still carry that destiny forward. Right. Um, so that's
just a big thing is I just want to make I just want to make sure people understand that if you're right now,
if you're listening and you're struggling because you might have, you know, done something atrocious or
something dirty, or you just feel self or, you know, just, you know. It's just it's transparently like you feel
icky. Like you feel just feel gross, you know? Um, that could be something as small as, like, hey, I have a
hard time lying or I have a hard time, um, with pornography, or I have a hard time being hateful. I have a
hard time with whatever. You know, if we're real. Like, there there is redemption in the blood of Jesus.
And that's something that I had to sit down and put my pencil to paper, open up my Bible and say, you
know, you're redeemed, dude. You know, behold the old things are, you know, washed away the bent.
You have new, you are new. You're redeemed by the blood of Jesus, you know. So so that's something
that, um, you know, I don't know if I could tie that into AI, but that's something that I needed. You know
what I'm saying? Yeah. AI isn't. There you go. There's the tie, and, uh. Move it. No, but I mean, so, so
many good things, man. Like. And I'm sitting here thinking about the concept of the. You know, what's
crazy about the Lord? Like, you know, you think of Jonah. Jonah is going to end up in Nineveh either
way. Yeah. Right. And yeah. Okay. He tried to run away and then he ended up there anyway. So like, the
rival happens because the Lord's going to get you where he wants you to go and and and to your point of
like this, you know, when you sit down and you start figuring out or you write down like though this is
what the Lord says about me, this is what's true. You know, all of these things. Like it's it's this what we
can hold on to. What we feel right is, is what often we are unwilling to depart from. This is what it feels.
It doesn't. It doesn't feel like the Lord should have forgiven me completely for x, Y, and Z, right?
Something as crazy as murder to as you know, small as a lie, you still one sin as every. You know, the
wages of sin is death. Um, it doesn't feel like that. But then what's true? Right to your point? Like what's
true, though? Those are different. What I feel and what's true are completely different. And so, you
know, these things that we have to depart from so that we're not going to get swallowed by the giant fish,
right, and end up in Nineveh anyways. We will end up in Nineveh. But what if we could avoid getting
swallowed by the giant fish? Yeah, right. By knowing what's right and true. Yeah. And arrived to that.
But but I love the the concept. Right. Because the first part is the throwing off of everything that hinders
us. Right? Hebrews talks about that and running the race with perseverance. These things that hold us
back. And what I keep thinking is, you know, something that, as you've been talking that I've never
thought about before is how many Christian agents that I've spoken to, that I didn't have this insight until
you started talking about. And I could be wrong, but but it's almost like there's a a self-sabotage in their
business, right? Because we don't believe. Because I've done whatever in my life. I don't believe like I
deserve to have a good business, right? Don't believe like I should be able to make really good money in
this industry. I don't believe those things. And so therefore, whether we would admit it or not, or even
recognize it or not, there is self-sabotage because we feel like we can't fully depart, right? Because. Yeah,
but that's that's who I am. Well, yeah, but when the Lord looks on you, he sees Christ. He doesn't see all
of these other things they've been paid for at the cross. They're not continually being paid for. They've
been paid for. It's done to your point. And so I wonder, even as as agents processed through this
departure, arrival, even just the departure alone, you know, we could get stuck there for a long time
trying to depart. Uh, that reality of are you in a place, agent, where you feel like you're not doing the
work, you're not putting the things in place because you just still hold on to this sin that has entangled
you, right? It had or still does. And so therefore you falsely believe, well, that means I don't deserve to
have a good business, right? Like you deserve to have whatever business the Lord wants you to have, and
your job is to work at it and be excellent at the input, and let the Lord determine the output, but not to try
to sabotage and run away so that he has to bring a fish to swallow you, and you end up an end of it
anyways, right? So, uh, man, I could talk about that forever. Okay. Keep going. So we've got we've got
departure. We've got arrival now. Uh. I want you to tell me about Destiny real quickly, though, because I
know not every agent hears the entire episode. Tell me real quick, because you got an amazing. And
we're going to come back to destiny. You've got an amazing community teaching agents about AI, which
we're in right now, whether we get to that or not. In the in the episode. That's okay. You guys can go
check this out. Meet the agents. AI. Right. But you've got a special thing for us. So drop that and then
we'll jump into Destiny. Yeah, yeah. So for anyone listening, if you head over to meet the agents AI
forward slash faithful, um, I'm going to give you guys full access to our community. So it's an online
community of agents that are learning about AI that are implementing it. Um, and essentially what I,
what I focus on, you know, if we get into AI, I'll focus on this piece right here. Number one, we talked
about it briefly earlier, the fundamentals. Number two, it's not necessarily based on how to use AI for
tasks but for outcomes. Right. Um, so we're not going to, you know, I'm not going to sit there for 30
minutes and tell you how to prompt something to make your listing description good or, you know, or
better. I mean, we can talk about that, but I'd rather not. But, um, it's more so, you know, you'll get access
to what's called the playbook, which is just, you know, this is one thing when you go on that site, you'll
see as soon as you hop on. But there's three plug and play system to generate more listings. Right. So
going over database reactivation, a custom seller presentation and ten pieces of content from every single
listing, right. That you get. So essentially every listing, you know, gives you the opportunity to even
create even more listings, right? There's also training that I went to for the elevate and the line that's in
there as well. So it's a community. I think we're at 50 plus agents right now. And I wanted to keep it, um,
keep it a little bit closed off until, you know, met with you. And eventually this will be a paid
community. People are already getting results. They're already, you know, getting more views on their
videos. They're having better conversations. They're doing better with their systems inside of their
businesses and stuff. And so there's more to it. But yeah, meet the agents dot dot AI for size faithful. And
you can go ahead and get that. It's completely 100% free. Cool. So thank you for that. First of all go
agents. Check that out. Right. We're not done with the episode, but I want you to check that out because
you've all heard me say this all the time. There's so many things we need to learn, and we want to seek
out a Christian, godly voice in that space, in any space that we're looking for, but to find a godly space,
uh, talking about AI so that we can try to understand it rightly is so unique and good. So agents don't pass
up that amazing resource. Go check that out. Meet the agents. It's in the show notes. Meet the agents. Dot
AI backslash. Faithful Christian. Thanks for offering that to us. But, yeah, uh, let's circle back. So come
to the final D destiny. Yeah. What is that? Destiny. So, um. This is probably where I'll get into something
pretty. Like, I've got a lot of stories to share, but I'll probably share maybe 1 or 2 here. But Destiny is not
the I you know, I finally arrival, I feel I see arrival that I've made it. You know, destiny is when you're
starting to actually you came to the conclusion that there is nothing that you can do without God, right?
It's not by our power. Right? Um, it's not that I get famous or I finally make money. It's the alignment
with what God has intended to do through your life. It's. It's what becomes possible when obedience,
identity, and surrender come into agreement. Right. Um, so, you know, when I started doing, you know,
marketing back in the day, one of my first biggest breakthroughs, I did a deal with Grant Cardone back in
like 2015, 2016. Um, I was working as a grill cook at a place called cookout, if you guys all been there.
So I used to work at cookout, and then. Yeah, the smokers and I would compete if he would take the
trash out, because I would be I would make calls to Grant Cardone office while I was taking out trash,
you know, just dumping and then getting on the phone call in the office. And so what we did is, um, long
story short, is this was before Facebook Live was even a thing is as an app called periscope, which was
something that, um, you know, was one of the first live streaming apps back in the day. And what we did
is we took a couple of Grant's quotes, we printed on some shirts, and the company I was with was called
Draven Productions. And, um, my buddy had this motivational clothing line and said, hey man, you
know, do you want some help? Can I help you? We started working together. Long story short, reprinted
the shirts. We've, you know, we live streamed a living dog water out of what we were doing. And, um,
you know, through time. Eventually, what ended up happening is that we fast forward. We drove to
Miami, where Grant Cardone office was. It used to be above a bank out in Miami. Um, Cold Lake,
essentially. We didn't have any appointment. There was no. Yes. We love what you guys are doing. You
know, before that, he had featured it on his show with Young Hustlers with Jared Grant. Like, they took
our shirts out of their boxes and shown it on camera, and people were like, oh, that's so sweet. That's
awesome. Um, but at this point, he didn't have any apparel. And so we were we would call them and they
would kind of give us the cold shoulder, not in the sense of, you know, we don't like what you're doing.
It's more so, uh, I don't know if we're going to do an actual agreement with you guys, but thank you. So
we were like, okay, so the only way that we're going to get this is, you know, by almost forcing it. So we
drove to Miami with no appointment. I took a picture of their office outside and in the parking lot, and I
tagged them on Twitter, and I'm like, we're here. Right? So the way that his office was, was below his
office was a bank, right. So in order to get to his office, he had to take an elevator. And there's a guard
there at the elevator. And so essentially, like we just waited and we showed up in this bank with this big
old box full of t shirts and, um. It's, you know, eventually the guard got the call. After we did that, we
called them and the guard let us up. They called, you know, the guard down said, hey, let these guys up.
And then we met. You know, Grant, we met his team and all these different people that were there. And
they've already seen this through all the work we did on Twitter and Periscope. This was no paid ads.
This was no big, you know, ad spend, nothing. This was just pure organic movement leveraging, uh, you
know, some of the fundamentals which I'll teach and meet the agents is leveraging what you have in
order to get what you don't. And essentially, that's what it boils down to. It's a fundamental it's leverage.
Right. And so what we did is we leverage other people's audiences. And we incorporated a plan where
anyone who came to our live stream, um, we supported them. We showed up to their live streams, we
shouted them out, we came supporting what they were doing. And what's funny is, before we got Grant's,
um, you know, his business, a lot of Grant's followers were starting to inquire about getting shirts for
themselves, and it was like a whirlwind. Man. We went up there. Uh, Grant's like, all right, cool. Let's do
the first one. 500 shirts. Right. So we landed a deal with Grant. We printed 500 shirts that sold out almost
instantly. We did another run with him on those. That was the Who's Got My Money shirt. And then we
did another round of shirts. Then all of a sudden, all of his circles started reaching out to us and saying,
hey, we would like, you know, you to print our stuff. And so what we would do is we would. This is the
same strategy we use with grannies. We literally I just took a video of us printing shirts, put some
background music and, you know, took video clips of their social media, made it really freaking cool.
Everything was custom to that person. Then I would, you know, whenever we would deliver their shirts
or their order or even before then, we would give that video to the customer. And of course they want to
sell their t shirts. So what are they going to do? If I'm a t shirt company? I'm just printing shirts. We're
like, no, we need a full service. Like we need a whole shebang. So what we would do is we'd print their
shirts, we would record us printing their shirts. We'd made this really cool 30 to 45 second video of us
printing, plus some music action clips from there, social from YouTube and just make it sick. And then at
the end, we just put our logo at the very end. That's all we did, right? And then we did that with everyone
and they would post those out. Thus we grew, we leveraged their audience. We didn't say, hey, we're
driven, we're printing for Grant today. Here's this. It was literally just all about them. It was all about
them. And with their tiny little logo at the end, um, and it, you know, when it comes to like, destiny.
Okay, I'll wrap it up. I'll put this is there's tons of different stories in my life where it just didn't make
sense. You know, um, we got that deal with Grant, and then my buddy's like, hey, you know what? Um, I
like what we did. I appreciate what we were doing, but I do not want to do this anymore. Um, I want to
focus on my clothing brand, and that's kind of like where the rug got pulled out from underneath me.
Like there was no more printing for Grant Cardone. There was no more. We were in conversations with
Brad Lee. We have printed for, um, one of Grant's followers, Lee Haight. We did stuff for him, all sorts
of people. Man. We were, we were we were running and gunning. And he was just like, I don't want to
do this anymore. I still remember where I was. I was in the studio working on music when he called me
and, um, you know. When you are going to when you're in that let's say that wilderness when you're in,
when you're going from, after you have departed, when you have arrived to the conclusion that without
God, without, you know, actually relying on him, not relying on yourself. You're getting into your
destiny. It's one of those periods where think of the story of job like, you know, it's not always going to
be sunshine and rainbows, right? You're going to go through some crazy, crazy stuff and, you know,
some one time, like, you know, in your career, you might be on top of a mountain and literally within
seconds you can be in the valley, you know, something's a deal could go be pulled out from underneath
you. You know, something can happen with the inspection. All sorts of stuff could happen. Wrong, right.
And, um, you know, there there is a there is a place, you know, God, God has a I feel like sometimes he's
got this, this weird sense of humor. I'm like, really? God, like, do you do I need to go through this? Like,
are you sure? You know, um, but when you look at the when you look at your story backwards, you kind
of, you kind of see, like, it just it's all in alignment, man. It's literally the weirdest thing. Um, I was able
to take that story, get it? Um, get a job at an agency. Can I, can I be a little, um. I don't know how deep
you want me to go to this, but I was running an agency doing, uh, we launched something called social
marketing. Our. We had people like Ezra Firestone, the CEO of Mini Chat, all these big guys, man. And,
um. I was working still doing real estate marketing on the side. I'm still working in real estate. I would
literally leave this agency, go home, stay up till two, three, four, five, sometimes not even sleep. Then go
back to the office. I would be so tired, man, that I would miss the turn to go to the office. And that's kind
of like where I felt like, hey, I did this with Grant, I could do this for myself. And I was trying to wheel it
into existence, man. And I literally, um, dude, I was freaking just going. I was immediately hired as an ad
manager for the agency's clients. The CEO was like, no way. This guy's awesome. I want him to manage
my brand, manage his brand. I had a team of Vas who did like 400 posts a week. This was before AI was
a thing, right? So it was super tough, right? Um, and we, uh, launched this show, worked with Damon
John, worked with all these different people, and dude, this is going to probably raise the hair on your
arms. But my sister, she's a minister as well with her husband, and I was on the phone with her. And at
that time my digital marketing real estate stuff was taking off and I was just tired, man. My my family
was taken to hit, my marriage was taken to hit, and my kids would see me at a desk from the time I got
home till they went to sleep. And when they woke up, I would already be gone, right? I would be so tired
I'd missed the turn. I was talking to my sister. I'm like, hey, this is what's going on. And she, um, she
said, Christian, let me ask you a question. If that building was on fire, would you run out? I'm like, well,
yeah, duh. Ruthie. Like, absolutely I would, I would run out. Like, who wouldn't? She's like, okay, she's
a Christian. The building's on fire. That's what she told me. I'm like, okay, thanks for the pep talk, I love
you. Thank you, big sis. I'll talk to you later that same day. I'm not making this up, dude. I promise you,
I'm not. I go into the office, I'm sitting next to my buddy. Ironically, his name is Jesus, right? I'm talking
to him and I'm like, hey, dude, you know, I don't know, man. I, you know, I think I think I might be
leaving soon. He's like, oh yeah. You know, like, yeah, man, I think I'm gonna go in like, I kid you not.
20 to 30s of me saying that. The CEO swings the door wide open. Wide open. He's a guy. It's the
building's on fire. That's crazy. Yeah, it's serious dude. He's like, the building's on fire. And he was
thinking he was. He wasn't saying literally. He was talking figuratively. He's like all these clients, or
we're losing the clients and this ad account is down and blah, blah, blah, blah. But he's like, the building's
on fire. Those are the first words that came out of his mouth. And after he got done with his conversation,
he left. I looked at Jesus. I'm like, dude, I'm gone. I literally just cleaned the hard drive of the computer.
Um, cleaned up my desk. Uh, the CEO and one of the financial guys were in the office. I just knocked, I
walked in there, I'm like, hey, guys, I appreciate the opportunity. Thank you. Um. I gotta get out of here
and that's it. You know, it's like I gotta go, and I left, and, um, after that, I started working for another
agency. Long story short, I didn't want to bore you, but I just want to show you where the alignment is
for destiny. Because I think that this all matters. Like so. You can get the full context. I leave still
working. Real estate, still making it work. Um, and then I decided to take a little break. I'm like, you
know what? I'm gonna take what I apply. I'm gonna do kind of. Because, you know, real estate's ebbs and
flows, man. You know, I just moved from Tennessee to Florida with no backup plan. Like, I just wanted
to leave. I was, uh, I both both of my parents passed away by the time I was 25. I just needed a new
place. I needed a new place. I needed to get away from from all that. And so, you know, we just left, and,
um. So I left that job, um, worked for another agency. They shut down. Didn't really say anything as to
why, but they just shut down, man. I'm talking, like, where I was working. And then it was crickets. The
CEO still to this day, owes me money. Um, I was doing DoorDash on the side to try and make up for
what I wasn't making, and I. I was driving in Florida. If you know anything about Florida, there's not a
lot of hills here. It's very flat. And I was driving and it was raining and I literally I was driving in my
wife's car and I flooded the car. Man, I drove into a flood and didn't see it and was literally front end of
the car down into the water. Her car was totaled in seconds and I literally took the food that I was
delivering, took it out of the car and hand delivered this food with water up to my knees to the person that
was ordered it or whatever. I had to go push that car out of the water, put it up a little driveway, and
dude, that was probably one of the lowest moments of my life was saying, I came out here, I did this
thing with Grant, I worked at this agency, got that, you know, that message my sister gave me? I listened,
even though I didn't know I was. I had that faith, like, I'm gonna, okay, I'm gonna leave. I feel like God's
talking to me right now. I'm going to leave. Um, I leave, and as soon as I get out, I get this job. They shut
down. They owe me money. I total my wife's car, just to add, you know, salt to the wound. Yeah, I did, I
do you have no idea what's next, right. And, um, you know, it's one of those moments where I'm like,
okay, God, I've tried to. Do this on my own, and I just can't. I just can't anymore. You know, I think as
humans, sometimes we have this tenacity to just try and be the guy or the girl. You know, we want to be
on the magazine. We want our YouTube channel to blow up. We want everyone to know who we are.
And I have worked with a lot of top performing real estate agents, Garrett. And I'll tell you, some of the
top performing real estate agents are battling demons that they don't show anyone else. I've been on
conversations where some of them will break down like substance abuse, depression. Right? Because
when you get to the top and you realize when you when I say the top, I say that figurative. But when you
get there, all you get is like, okay, what's next? Now I need more what's you know, what's around the
corner. No one knows. But when you place your faith in God for me, what I found is that regardless of
what's next, my faith is placed in him and I don't have to worry about it. I might be a human being is
sometimes struggle with that, but my destiny is not attached to what Christian Santiago wants to achieve.
My destiny is to reach souls for Christ. My purpose, which is like old question, God, what's my purpose
in life? What's my purpose? What's my purpose? Your purpose is to lead others to Christ. That's it. It's
not about who you are, like on earth. Like you're the greatest real estate agent. You're whatever. You're
the president of the United States. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter your your purpose, what God
put you on this earth for is to lead others to him. That's it. You know? And so destiny, right? That's all I
know. That was a lot. But I just wanted to give you kind of like the timeline of what that is, you know?
Um. Between losing my parents, leaving the state, doing big deals with big people, you know, losing. I
realize I lost a lot. There's way more, but I just I know I'm probably already, like, getting time. So, um,
you know, destiny isn't always instant. You know, sometimes God's going to start something in one
generation. He fulfills it another. Right. That's an example that a that he had in the Bible, too. So one
thing I just want everyone to listen to, like he who has begun a good work in you, will complete it until
the day of Jesus Christ returns. That's in Philippians. So regardless of what it is that you're going through,
you don't understand. You don't know why things are happening. Um, God is not going to abandon you,
and he hasn't abandoned you. And you might feel that way, but I would I would challenge you to think
that. Do I feel like God abandoned me, or do I more feel like I just haven't answered his call? I haven't
answered that. You know, he knocks at your door, he's there, you know. And sometimes as human
beings, we feel like we can do everything ourselves. We don't need anybody. Oh, um, you know, selfmade blah, blah, blah. You know, I mean, this is not the case, dude, that's that's cool for a split second,
and you can kind of beat your chest, but it's just not the truth, man. And when you get there and you be
top performer, you do this. You sell 500 homes in a year. Oh, dude, I'm telling you, I've met them and
I've talked with them, and there are there is some craziness that happens when you're at that level that
they don't show you. They don't want you to know. Um, but I would just wrap up my destiny where I've
arrived. It's not about the money. It's about being in alignment with God. What is he intended to do
through your life? Right. So it's it's what becomes possible when obedience again, identity, surrender
come into agreement. And, um. That's what it is, man. You know. Yeah. We're good. Yeah. We we thank
you for sharing all that. First of all. You know, I, I often talk about. Yeah. Our mission is the gospel. Our
method is real estate. Right? Like, we just happen to be in real estate right now. If the Lord moves me
into something else, my mission is still the gospel. My method is now through whatever it is, you know,
through my podcast. Right? It's the same thing. That that is why we're here. You know, it just. And you
just share super quickly. It reminds me. So my best buddy Tyler, who used to be the co-host of the show,
was a pro baseball player for ten years, pitched for the Baltimore Orioles. Anyways, he was I was sharing
this story with somebody this week, and he. But I remember Tyler telling me the first time he was in the
major leagues pitching against the New York Yankees. He strikes out Alex Rodriguez, right. Like the
pinnacle of your career. And he has this moment. He says, I step off the mound and I think to myself,
thank you, Lord, that this is not all there is because this is so empty. Yeah, right. It's like he achieved
what every little boy has ever dreamed of, ever. Right. And. He was like, yeah. Doesn't mean anything.
You know, compared to No Cry. Like it just means nothing. And so, you know, the, the the departure
when I, when I reiterate and think about in my own head the departure of the arrival, the destiny like the
departure for so many of us, is stopped being in pursuit of what the world defines a success. Right. Like,
you just leave that alone. And, you know, certainly mixed in with, uh, walking away from the things that
you say are true about yourself or you listen to what the devil says is true and you're not actually paying
attention to what the Lord has said and his word, right. What you feel versus what's true. And then the
arrival moment of, you know, the arrival is the interesting piece to me because we don't know when we're
going to arrive because we don't necessarily know where we're arriving to. Right? Other than we are fully
aware that the Lord is going to bring us to exactly where he wants us to be, right? Like so where have we
arrive? Or right in the middle of where the Lord wants us? Even if it feels terrible like that? That's where
we are. Uh, and we just are, uh, and then the destiny part. Right to your point. I love what you said is
like, who knows what the the story of our lives are going to be. The reality is, like in a hundred years,
nobody's going to frickin care what I've done. You know, like, they just won't, I, you know, within. I
mean, not my family, but other than my family, within a few months of me being gone, nobody's going to
talk about me anymore. And that's okay, Right? Like that. That's fine. I could never live forever. I can't
actually change the world. You know? None of those things hold any weight other than who am I sharing
the gospel with? Am I first and foremost doing that to my own kids? Right. But then, is that what my life
is about now? Yeah. Be excellent as an agent. Be excellent as whatever it is you're doing because that
brings the Lord glory. But never forget to your point that the goal is not how do I become the number one
agent? How do I make $1 million? Whatever it is, those are okay. If those are good and godly ambitions
that the Lord has given you. But the goal is, how do I be a gospel witness? And if you're going to be
more effective as a gospel witness because you have a big, massive team and you're not doing that for
ego, then then do it right. Tyler was more effective as a gospel witness because he was a pro baseball
player, and so people would listen to what he had to say, right? But if he was doing no, you know, he's a
sinner, too, just like we all are. But if he was doing it solely for selfish gain and ambition, who cares? It's
all going to get thrown away anyways. Burned up? Nobody knows you as a baseball player. I'm the only
one that talks about it anymore, right? Like, you know, those things will go away. And the only thing that
remains is, is the word of the Lord, right? And the truth and eternity. Like, we're not playing for a five
minute blip. We're playing. This doesn't stop. It goes on forever. I don't understand what that means.
Nobody does. But we're there's some high stakes, right? There's some pretty high stakes going on here.
So. Man anyway. So so good. This had nothing to do with AI. Which is fantastic. Uh, so what the. The
beauty of that is you guys need to go to meet the agents.ai backslash faithful and check out what's going
on and recognize, you know, one of the things I appreciate and again, is an incursion to to the listener.
Um, the reality is I want you to go check this out. Right. Agents, because it is going to make you better at
what you do. But you can know from the heart of the guy who's running it, right? You can know that his
