What is up faithful agents, we are so glad that you have joined us here. As we introduce the faithful agent podcast, there was such a great response to the faithful agent series that we had done on our podcast serving, not selling that we decided, you know, what we're going all in. This podcast now exists for the glory of God, and to serve and encourage Christians in the real estate space. So we wanted to make that announcement and introduce that to you all, because we are excited for this journey that quite honestly, we're all going to go on together, as we all seek to be faithful to what the Lord has for us, and what this community might do to serve one another. It's not about me and Tyler, this is about the Lord and what he wants to do with it. So we are grateful that you're joining us in this mission in this purpose in our faithful agent community, and certainly on this podcast. So, T man, I know that you had a great All scripture is great, but a passage that really kind of lays out what we're about man, give it to us.
Yeah, yeah, I'm going to jump into Colossians, 323 and 24. And unpack it a little bit. It says whatever you do work heartily as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive inheritance as your reward you are serving the Lord Christ. And star hope, as she just compounded on is that you listeners would be encouraged to pursue Christ above all things, that our journey in the professional real estate space, or professions in general, is not independent of our pursuit of Christ in our faith, that how do we walk this out faithfully, to intersect the both of them, and also to love our spouses to lead our families to serve our communities, to love our to love our families, if we're not married, and having a family, whatever it means we're here to encourage and to sharpen and to equip one another, to be exactly what it means to be faithful. That is not a 30 minute long, singular podcast, it's a series it's a life of running your race well, as we're called to, the target is to bring honor to God and to grow his kingdom. And our goal and pursuit in this time is to just encourage you guys to do that faithfully as we try to encourage one another to do it. And as we fall to pick, fail and fall to pick one another up and to just keep running our race as best we can.
Amen. And I think one of the things Yeah, I mean, so you want to just listen to the show, I just end up confessing all the time on the show. But, you know, I confess one of the challenges is the the feeling of inadequacy, like Man, if you and meaty are going to be the guys that are like helping lead this movement, this momentum, whatever this is gonna be, you know, and transparency like Hama center, just like all of you. And it's good to recognize inadequacy. But and because the Lord is the one who's strong, but in reality, being truthful to y'all, but it's also a little bit scary. So as we go along this journey, I would deeply desire your prayers for me and Tyler to have wisdom. And however the Lord wants to use this podcast us, the faithful agent, community, whatever that looks like that we would just be biblical that we would be honoring that we would be submissive to the Lord, and what he would have for us as we try to live, as Tyler said, Live to the best of our ability, be holy, as he is holy, which we will not come close. But we will strive and and we hope it can be encouragement to you all. So I wanted to read the vision statement for the for our company, so you can go to faithful agent.com. And you can see the vision, we desire for the faithful agent community to be a group comprised of Jesus loving gospel following regenerate believers in Christ, who also have been called to run and grow a business in the real estate space. We desire to see deep relationships form and grow between the men and women in this group for encouragement, accountability, and a mutual desire to grow in our love and admiration of Christ. We desire for believers in business to become excellent, and all that they do for Christian business owners to be the most knowledgeable, best trained, and tarp in the business. So they both honor the Lord by working for his glory, and they achieve financial success so they can give to the needs of their local church body. That's our hope. That's our vision for what we're trying to do. And we'd love for you to join us and be part of that. We got to kick it off just a few days ago as we're recording this with our first ever faithful agent conference. And it was pretty good too. I mean, I think we both think it went way better than we could have even imagined. But what did you think, man? Where were maybe just a few quick of your quick highlights.
I thought it was amazing. And like as as we've said, as we felt like throughout those two days, and in the wake of it and even before it's just we went in open ended, you know, whatever your will is, Lord, may it be done. We weren't trying to accomplish anything per se or trying to move the needle in any direction. And it was truly trying to create the space for the spirit to work. And God was faithful in that there were lives that were changed and impacted. There were testimony shared, there were businesses that will hopefully grow in their faithfulness to pick up in picking up their cross every day and to the champion, their vocation for the Kingdom. And so I just thought it was such a great time, so many amazing people, which is what made it so special. I mean, you have Christians that know and love Jesus, all coming together with a commitment to get to know Him more and to encourage one another. I mean, people were prayed over people, people, relationships were made, networking was done, like businesses will be woven together because of it. It was truly a God honoring couple of days that I'm grateful that we were just able to be vehicles to help make it happen.
Yeah, right. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, there's so many comments from people after the fact that just said, they've been thinking about it all weekend, you know, it's a Thursday, Friday event, they can all weaken and just impacting the way they're considering how to do their business, or what that looks like. Or even somebody I saw, who I admire, greatly, went back and said, he realized he his schedule was all out of whack. And he needed just to be with his family. And so on a day you would normally work I saw him posting pictures with his family. And it's like, praise God, for that, right. And I was deeply impacted. So it was Tyler. And again, I think we are so fortunate me and UT to be involved in whatever the Lord is doing with this, right? However he chooses to use us. But again, audience don't ever think that we've got this figured out. We are here trying to understand and be faithful to the Lord. And you know, we are only going to be better because you join our community, right? The people around you are only going to grow in their faith and their business because you come and you join. And you're willing to say, Yeah, I'm a faithful agent, too. How can I serve? How can I be part of what we're doing? That what you said t is 100%, right, man, it was the people there. I mean, we had great teaching great training, great panels, you know, great time of fellowship, but it was the people that came in, that's, that's what blew us away, was the heart of the people in the room. And so if you are one of the people in the room, thank you for coming genuinely, we love you. And we're gonna continue to strive to honor the Lord by doing our best to shepherd whatever the faithful agent is going to be to do that well. And if you're listening and you weren't there, and you want to join the community, just go to faithful agent.com. Real quick, you can click Join our Facebook community totally free. Just Just join us there, we'd love to get to know you and and to be able to serve one another. So T man we wanted to as we did at the conference, we started and ended with the gospel. Because if we're going to go into the faithful agent, and this is what we're doing now, right? We're just we're just trusting the Lord in this man, the most important foundation that all of us can have is that we understand and know the real true gospel. I think you did such a good job articulating that for us at the conference, brother, so why don't you do it one more time for us here. And, and man, we will do our best to continue to uphold that and honor the Lord in His gospel, as we continue to do more episodes. So go ahead, buddy.
Yeah, amen. And that's why as I jump into this, I want to just completely agree with everything you're saying, and that we're gonna do our best to be faithful, but we're broken centers to we confess that to each of you that are listening, we lay that down at the feet at the foot of the cross, and praise God that we are made new because of His redeeming sacrifice on the cross. But we're just going to try to walk it out. We've asked that you guys hold us accountable to each of these podcasts that we put out all the wisdom that we're trying to share that we hope it comes straight from the Lord. And all of it we pray is rooted and centered around the gospel, which is a story of Jesus. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, He created male and female uniquely of one another with very specific qualities in God's image, to rule over the kingdom of His creation. He gave one law to not eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Garden of Eden. And with Satan's temptation, Adam and Eve succumbed to that, and ate of it. And in that moment, sin entered the world through one man. And that is the same sin that we all inherently have inherited, as a part of the line of Adam and God's creation. And that separation, the wages of sin is death, according to Romans and so because of that sin, we're eternally separated from God, and that separation can only be redeemed through a perfect sacrifice. To accomplish such God came down to earth in was fully man and fully God As Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, knew no sin, and chose to sacrifice himself on the cross as the perfect sacrifice so that all of our sins can be forgiven. And that veil was torn and our eternal separation from Christ or from God could be redeemed. As sin entered the world through one man, sin was conquered by one man in the same way. And so because of that, we have the opportunity we are saved by grace through faith through no works of our own, accomplished only by His redeeming grace and have the opportunity to live this life here in his creation, to be sanctified day by day and made new so that one day will be glorified and our bodies will be made new as we get to live in eternity. Alongside Christ is that brokenness is restored only through him as we confess with our hearts, and believe with our tongues that we will be saved alongside Christ.
Amen. Faithful agents, pray for us and we'll pray for you. We look forward to continue to see you in this community and to love and learn and grow together. We'll see you next time.
